>go to gym today for shoulder workout
>'gym' has one squat rack and no shoulder press rack
>finish first set
>guy starts telling his friend very loudly that we cant do bent over rows where I am because some guy(me) is doing shoulder press in the squat rack
>says this twice
>does bent over rows on the ground
Am I in the wrong here? He wasn't going to do squats either so what's the issue? Only one other guy used the squat rack after me to do shrugs.
Do bent over rows have priority? I always do them on the ground after I dead lift so I don't see why he needs to do them on the squat rack.

What? You were in the right. Those other guys either are to lazy to lift it off the ground or dont know what a bumper plate is.
I do them in one of my gyms power racks because there are two and one is sketchy and not used much. Also there's only like one free barbell at most and I can never find it.
But they definitely have the lowest priority on any rack.
Fuck priories, unless your gym has dedicated areas for all barbell lifts its first come first served. Only find someone should shift is if it's some literal lightweight meme lifting shit that can be done where else.
