When I do pushups, I get a sharp pain in my lateral left elbow. Feels like it's coming from deep within that soft spot. The joint also collapses as I'm unable to bear any weight at all on it. The pain and weakness immediately resolve once I let off.
I haven't experienced it when doing anything else. It's only with pushups, regardless of how I position myself or whether I use stands.
Which alternative exercises can I try to replace pushups and see if the elbow thing won't happen?
