Best excercises for stamina ?

I've recently noticed that my stamina is terrible and even a 1.5 mile run has be gasping for air so I want to make a change, it's not speed that's the problem and I have the mindset it's my ability to keep on going which is holding me back in my mind I can keep going but my body just can't.

What sort of exercises could I implement into my day that would boost my stamina?

running more

It's endurance. Keep gasping for air and eventually you'll be able to do it.

Cardio sucks but once you train your will to keep going, you'll be fine.

i'm a flabby fatty getting ready for my BMOQ (armed forces training)
supplement non-running days with 40 minutes of good cardio (130-170bpm), it makes a huge difference

exercise bike is the easiest way to do this imo, but swimming or sports works too
i would advise staying off your feet or your legs will get fucked

I took walking for fitness when in college. I was fit AF at the time but honestly walking fast for 30 minutes at a time multiple times a day while dieting seems to not be a bad program if you actually do it every day (for fat loss). I'm 59 pounds overweight right now and running hurts my joints so swimming and biking really help get my heart rate up too. I can out bike my friends on a 10 mile trek but running fucks my knees up right now. I'm trying to figure out if fasting will help but brosceince says differently.

don't fast, you'll binge, for cardio as long as your heart rate is in the right range you're doing it right: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d0IbZ0eiEiQ

just eat less crap and eat more veggies/fibre and drink lots of water, you'll be so full all the time you won't want to eat processed stuff

i used to be able to stuff my face with greasy filth all day but since i started eating nutritious homemade food i can't finish most restaurant meals, meals high in fat legit make me sick

decided to stop fucking around when i sent my armed forces application in, got to a 36 waist at some point and now i'm down to 34 again
