Srs question.
Instead of doing 3 exercises for one muscle group can I just do the one exercise for more sets?
Example:
>3x12 Skullcrushers
>3x12 Dips
>3x12 Kickbacks

Just do this instead
>9x12 dips/another exercise

I know SOME exercises can hit different heads and parts sometimes but is there really any difference?

Instead of doing aux exercises, you could just do your compounds. Doing 9 sets unless you're roiding means you're either fucking around in the gym or trying to destroy your CNS

Yeah nah. There is no compound exercise that is going to hit my triceps like dips or the like.

example: bench press, than db press requires less energy, and than flys requires less energy so you do them after to keep going

You'll plateau a lot faster. Instead of accomplishing the same workload with 3 different exercises, you would be doing that all with one exercise. That's fine (some exercises might hit certain muscle groups harder though), but your body will get used to this movement after a while and you'll stop making progress. It's easier to make progress across 3 different exercises than it is with just one when you're going to end up plateauing
