story time, it's been a while since i've been to these parts, I think I stopped lurking around the time zyzz died (zyzz day is in 2 days btw)

>be me
>15 yo skinny fag 140 pounds 5'11"
>rs daily
>browse /b/ daily while slaying
>eventually see zyzz meme, think holy fuck this dude is jacked
>become /fit/ daily lurker, eventually poster
>start lifting, small definition gains but very little actual progress
>flash forward a year

>start starting strength and GOMAD, senior year of highschool, fuck do i care if it's a meme
>gain 20 pounds, add about the same to all lifts within a semester
>get to college, continue seeing gains, people notice
>fast forward to in college, at 185 and feeling amazing

This place actually made a big impact on my body, which made a big impact on my confidence, and overall happiness. For that, thank you.
