Even most powerlifters go through short cutting/recomp phases.
If you do it right you won't lose significant muscle during cut. Throw in a minor dose of testosterone (200mg/week) and you'll be gaining year round, even on cuts.

Start very lean, true 10%. Run a 250 surplus or even less and track food as strictly as you would on a cut. This won't work after the first two years of dedicated lifting.
Or run TRT dose test and do it forever.
