How can I get along with less sleep than I need right now (about 7 to 8 hours)? Is it even possible to train this?
I only know of multiphasic sleep. By spreading sleep times throughout the day, you somehow need less hours of sleep in total.
Also with age, you will need less and less sleep.

You cant train yourself to need less sleep.
Furthhermore, lack of sleep is bad for your gains AND your mental cognitive abilities. The effect is accumulative even, so that consecutive nights of little sleep will actually lower your cognitive abilities more and more.
Another thing that will eventually go is willpower.

pretty much this. Lack of sleep will fuck up just about everything in your life. Instead of browsing shit like Facebook/twitter or whatever the fuck is current hot social media, go to sleep early and get enough sleep.
"I Don't have time" is a bullshit excuse, unless you literally are someone like Norman Borlaug.
