What's the best type of exercise of mental health? I already do oly lifting but I don't think it's sustained enough to provide much benefit.
Personally i would say bodybuilding, ive never actually seen the stats, but from what ive felt myself, itnseems like the time under tension an muscle damage that bodybuilding style training does provides by far thenlargest amount of serotonine, etc. After a good long bb session where i getna huge pump, i feel mentally way better than afger cardio or strength training.
Learning a new language, meditating and staying away from mind altering substances = maximum mental health gains.

Staying away from mind altering substances is an ingeresting one though. Many philosophers etc have actually recommended drugs, because itnproviders insisghts and outnofnghe bos thoughts that you wojld otherwise notnget.

I am already fluent in 4 languages, no need for a fifth one.

Also, dialects of the same language don't count brah; especially if you grew up with those languages.

No actually, go look it up. Ancient greek and roman philosophers quite often recommended using opium (including the stoics, who were super anti using things for pleasure, etc). Also modern thinkers are often quite fond of LSD. Very many people claim their vision on life has become drastically better after trying LSD.

This. I only count myself as being able to speak one language, English despite understanding a dialect I doubt many English speakers would find intelligible.

I agree.
The brain works on different chemicals.
You would be extremely naive to think that altering these chemicals in a certain way by doing drugs, wouldn't give you some potential you otherwise wouldnt get.

You would also be extremely naive to think that altering these chemicals wouldn't give you some potential negatives that you otherwise wouldn't get.
