Dumbell shoulder press has done that to me too, happened with 50 pounds in my hand and it fell on my head and hurt real bad. Only do OHP now.

Yes my shoulder came out of socket and my arm just crumpled. It immediately popped back in as soon as I let go of the weight but y shoulder joint hurt for a while following the incident.

did you have any repeat incidents or did it just kind of heal like nothing happened

Well I stopped doing dumbell press and only ohp like I said, hasn't happened since and it took maybe a week before I could get back into bench and a little longer than that before I went back to ohp again. No long term effects.
