Do you ever feel out of place at the gym? Like a weak piece of shit among muscle-bound gods?
I never felt this before today.

no because everyone there once was a weak shit

The vast majority of people start out as weakfags so it's not a big deal. Now I'm one of the stronger, bigger guys at my gym, though it's just a shitty commercial gym

Yeah. At high school I used to be the strongest one there. People would watch me deadlift and get yelled at by the teacher to go lift and not stand and watch me. I was used to breaking records, getting asked by kids how I got so strong, accused of roiding, and shit like that. Just graduated and started going to a real gym. I actually thought I was pretty big and strong but one day at this new gym with dudes that have been lifting for 10 years squating over 500, benching 3 plates, deadlifting 600, and being lean as shit put me in my place real quick. I liked getting constant mires from people at my high school gym but now I just try to get to the point that these other dudes are at in the new gym. I'll make it one day.
Do I ever feel inadequate? Yeah, that's why I'm there lol.
I don't know your situation, but just keep trying to improve until you don't feel out of place

Nope, at one point I was the weak day kids there, now I'll 220 6'1 and 12 percent bf, I lift more than anyone I've seen in my gym, on pretty much every lift. If you want it bad enough you can go from the guy asking for advice to the guy that gets asked for advice pretty quickly. If you want it, go get it, if your going to let your feelings of being weak stop you, you were already to weak to get it
