I'm not sure if they're good for better skin but they're amazing for better sleep.
I'm sick of this fucking cold shower meme. Literally all of the claimed benefits of cold showers are broscience.
If you want actual benefits of cold, look into cryotherapy.

There's no more benefit to cold showers than lukewarm in terms of skin and hair health. Only hot water is a problem for skin. Only thing cold showers help you in is learning how to stand the cold.

what is wrong with hot? 99% of my showers are in hot. No problems with skin
Hot solvents dissolve shit better than cold solvents. That's why fucking dishwashers use hot water. If you're using too hot of water in your shower, then you run the risk of stripping all of the natural oils off your skin, leaving your skin dry (which will prematurely age it). Conversely, if you only use cold water, you run the risk of not dissolving the gunk that has built up on your skin, and at that point it's not even a shower because it's not cleaning your body.
It's not fucking rocket science. If your skin is dry, it might be because you're showering with too hot water, or too showering too long, or showering too frequently. If your skin is oily and gross and you have bad acne, it's likely because you're not cleaning yourself enough. How is this shit still so fucking arcane to you?

This is why cleansers and exfoliators exist anon

My ac broke so I've been taking cold showers exclusively this week
I've noticed more energy, gotten laid more, less depression, and I assume higher test. It also feels great because of the heat, last time I tried it I was pussing out. Not really checking skin. AC just got fixed but I'm sticking with cold showers, I like it nice and icy

I have been doing cold showers for a month and haven't noticed any difference in anything other than it is now easy to tolerate cold water.

My current apartment complex was built in 2015, pretty modern. The showers have some auto temperature thing where they are always a nice level of hot. It's great for that, but I literally can't take a cold shower if I want one. Anyone else experienced this?
apparently keeping your balls cool has been shown to increase test, so there's that
