/strongfat/ trying to lose weight here

Recently started eating nothing but Chicken Breast, Spinach, and coffee 3 times a day and running 5 miles every night at midnight in addition to my lifting routine

Is this a sound plan to lose weight? I know literally nothing about shit but it feels fucking great. Advice appreciated

unless you slowly lower you caloric intake from what you were eating to maintain the fat of the skinny fat.... your body will go into hibernation mode and store the extra calories as fat.

that's the opposite of what you're trying to do, I guess.

instead..... break down your meals to 6 times a day, but only 1/2 portions of what you have now, and do 20 minutes of HIIT cardio on a treadmill.

Its a solid plan. As long as you're on a calorie deficit anything works.

I wouldn't do the running, unless you enjoy it. Cardio doesn't do much for weightloss.

If you cut calories too heavily you might see your lifts go down. If you think its more important to lose fat than retain muscle , you're golden. If you want to keep muscle , I'd make sure my deficit is smaller.
