i was sqautting in the gym (started 2 months ago) and i inadvertantly let out a huge FART at the bottom of the sqaut. i honestly feel this made it easier for my leg muscles to transfer momentum upwards. possibly it was placebo, but given powerlifters train for years for ONE lift, my question is whether storing up huge amounts of fart-energy prior to a lift could possibly be used to give a competitive lifter an edge?
