Hello /fit/
Is walking/running still the best option to lose weight? I don't want to go to a gym, if i could avoid, but i need to lose weight as soon as possible.
Running is actually not a great way to lose weight. Sprinting 200-800m with 1-2 minute recoveries in between.
lmao, like wtf, just like stop fucking eating nigga

Recovery would be walking normally for 2 minutes?

Right. Standing or laying down is pretty harmful.

When you start running, you shouldn't start out with some huge weekly mileage, because you will injure yourself, especially as a fatass. You will also most likely be unable to run 5 kilometres without stopping in the first place, and you won't be able to run on two consecutive days. Since your weekly mileage will be very low, you won't burn a lot of calories.
If you have a bike, you can do 60-90 minutes of cycling or more (make sure to put in some effort and don't just coast around at like 9 mph), or you can just do a ton of walking, or do the HIIT the other anon recommended, but you will probably suck at that at first too. You should also have a ~800 kcal deficit or even more if you really want that fast weight loss.

I lost 20kg running and restricting my portion sizes. You could try intermittent fasting if you struggle with the latter.

But how much of this should you be doing? Just until you're exhausted or what?
Hiit training is the best for fat loss. And takes less time.
Also you made a thread about this? Not even in the qtddtt?
