Anyone here tried lifting with a mental illness that kills their appetite? Ive lost a lot of weight this year and it was motivated a lot by the anxiety, but now that Im thin I want to gain some muscle. The problem is this mental bullshit has me tired of eating. I only want to drink protein shakes and low effort meals like fast food. I just find eating unpleasant and Im just too sad to want to take care of my self enough to eat real wholesome food. Its like the opposite has happened where instead of eating my feelings Im trying to starve them. Any tips?

You could stop eating emotionally and plan your diet out entirely.
Just sit down and make a list of what you'll eat this week, then shop for the whole week, and then cook it in batches for several days.
That's what I do, I'm pretty lazy and I didn't feel like cooking every day so I make like 5 pounds of beef or chicken with vegetables and a pot of rice pilaf every week or so.
