I've used his kettlebell methodology for a lot my time. It's good shit for conditioning.

Kettlebells are awesome for conditioning and handy to take somewhere with you if you are on the move and still want to workout away from the gym. Not the be all and end all but a useful tool.

Kind of the opposite. Pavel himself says most adult men really just need two 16kg kettlebells and one 24kg kettlebell max for an effective routine. You should also keep in mind that kettlebells are primarily used for cardio and muscle endurance, not necessarily building strength.

I like to use kettlebells when I'm working out at home, but I never use them at the gym. Having a few kettlebells takes up a lot less space than most other types of equipment. And kettlebell swings are a great exercise.

I think they get a bad rep around here because their popularity with Crossfit.

OP here. Glad to hear it was useful.

I recently started doing his "greasing the groove" method and I've seen some immediate progress in how much I can lift. Been looking into buying one or two and adding into my routine, but the good bells are expensive and I didn't want to drop money on something that wouldn't do much for me.

I've seen some CrossFit shit with the Kettlebells but I've seen the Swing and Snatch exercises and they seem dead simple. If it's good cardio then I'm down for that too.
