Redpill me on full body workouts. I've recently stopped doing splits because I find the schedule so boring and hard to stick too. So now I just visit the gym as often as I can but I only do 1-2 sets on each exercise, focusing on maxing the weight. I'm a little concerned about not getting a proper leg workout, but I run for 30 minutes to get to the gym so that's probably enough right? Plus I still do squats and deadlifts just not every day. Anybody have any experience with training that way? My typical workout would look something like this:
1 set traps
1 set shoulders
1 set back
1 set chest
1 set triceps
1 set whatever exercise I feel like doing, often it's a compound leg exercise
I've noticed some significant strength gains and I even put some muscle on so it can't be that bad right?
