Why don't I see /fit/ talk more about pork loin instead of chicken? It's cheaper and almost the same macros.

nah dude they are more expensive. the tenderloin of any animal especially beef requires a lot of processing (removal of fat, silverskin, gristle etc) so what youre eating is about 40% of the psoas major muscle (the edible part) which there are only 2 of on a pig. chicken breast is a lot easier to process, only 2 cuts are required - therefore it is cheaper .

Dude the smiths by my house once had a two hour sale for pork loin, .77/lb
Spent eight bucks for more than ten pounds, they sliced it into steaks for me and it was a beautiful meaty week.
