So guys, is it better to have a post-workout meal or does the timing not actually matter? I believed it didn't matter, but this article does have quite a bit of citations...
pls respond

Just shut up and lift, you pussy.
>Eat. Wait an hour. Lift. Eat again.
Don't enter panic mode if you stray from this rule. You will still be able to workout if you ate a couple of hours before and your cortisol level won't raise ad infinitum if you don't eat right after your workout.

Well, I've been lifting fasted directly after I wake up (when I have most energy), and I was having just a light breakfast after working out. I was just wondering if shuffling around when I eat my food would result in better gains.
I'll probably still not eat pre-workout (might consider BCAA's, maybe), but I'll definitely get a bigger, more protein heavy post-workout meal now.
