While it's not really ok, weirdly enough you won't get sick from bread mold (unless you have a fungal allergy or a compromised immune system). At most you'll gag and throw up if you can't handle the taste or texture.
Still, just to be safe, cut it out of the bread or just throw the whole thing away.

Cut the mold off, I think some of the mold is bad for your gut flora but it won't hurt you directly. If it's too much work to cut the mold off, the bread is too moldy.
