Why is there a "pop" everytime I do an OHP rep? There's no pain, just popping. Anyone else?
do light mobility work for shoulders before

It could be air in your joints like when you crack your knuckles. If it starts to hurt its probably something worse tho.

yeah, i get this shit too.
15-25 rep shrugs with a very low weight dumbbell (like 10-15 pounds) and then do a quick warm up with that same dumbbell with a static angle at your elbow (as in only movement through the shoulders.)
i do the overhead press with 50 lb dumbbells, progressing into 65 or 70s, and i've noticed that i can reduce the pain/risk of injury when i get my shoulders ready this way.
I get pops in my knees/ankles sometimes, 0 pain probably just genetic I think.

My left elbow always pops within the first few reps of bench press. I've always assumed that it's because of minor joint damage since I don't remember it happening before I was put in a brutal arm bar while wrestling. No pain though so I don't worry about it.
