I usually drink 250ml of really hot milk before bed, it's become a ritual since I was a kid(took it from my mother)

All of these. Also, milk has both casein and whey in ideal proportions, you can drink that and save money. You don't have to go full GOMAD either, see how much you can comfortably fit into your macros and go for it.

Casein is overall a much higher quality food product, and because of the slow absorption, doesn't fuck with insulin. Whey is better intra/post wo. Casein is best throughout the day or before bed.

Get whey. Casein is so fucking hard to mix and drink. The slow absorption shit doesn't matter. All it matters if it you ate the required amount of protein for the day.
