I'm pretty new here, I've read everything in the sticky and checked out the links. I'm trying to build muscle, so I'm following the 5x5 guide here http://newbie-fitness.blogspot.com.au/2007/01/stripped-5x5.html
It feels like I should be doing more though, I know the guide covers this, but other experienced people keep giving me shit about this routine too. I've noticed the blogpost is about 10 years old now as well.
TL'DR Is this routine relevant and good as it is?
