Time to settle this once and for all, pic related is an excerpt from Practical Programming for Strength Training (Rip's book).
He shows a diet example for someone who is basically auschwitz mode and one for a fat person. I can't see this "shitty diet advice" everyone on fit is talking about, looks pretty well balanced to me.
