Do you play any sports /fit? What foods are the best to consume after you've played a match?
I usually consume my carbs before a match and eat healthy after (fish and nuts).
I do this with my own logic that sugar is high energy, which I can use to fuel myself during intensive games. I don't really need that afterwards I think. Your thoughts please.

But yeah eating carbs before is wise, as they will be used to fuel your performance. Protein and fats afterward for the less intensive needs of recovery
