Hello /fit/, I'm 19 years old, 5'8, weigh 153lbs and I'm skinnyfat. Been bulking for a month (gained 3lbs in that time) and I'm doing lvysaur's 448 program with bodyweight ab exercises everyday.
I basically would like to look like pic related by the end of the year. Should I stick with bulking and cut into next year or consider recomping? Or maybe cut for 2 months then eat lean at maintenace or bulk slightly afterwards? Considering when I cut down I'll probably only go a few lbs down from what I already am, I'm not sure the case for bulking OR cutting is particularly that strong considering my weight, maybe I need to find the happy medium, r-right?
This industry is full of so many contradictions, which brought me here after Athlean-X told me you can build muscle and lose fat instead of doing the bulking/cutting cycle. Achieving pic related by the end of the year gives me confidence and a nice foundation to work on instead of being fat and I just want to have a fairly nice body quite soon.
