I need your professional help brehs.
>havn't been playing voleyball for more than a year
>played at quite advanced level before
>last sunday, back to game
>warmup, training and match games: 4-5 hours total
>my quads feel weak and somewhat paralysed at the end
>discomfort walking off court

since yesterday and today morning I can't fucking rise from chair, bed or damn toiled without hand support - its not that painfull, muscles just resist to cooperate

It doesn't feel like regular soreness and muscles feel more tense than usual, no pain when touching, only at certain angles of standing up or walking down stairs.

I have next training session in 1,5h, should I take some painkillers and try to play carefully or just wait till condition passes?

I'd say take a day or two off. I had the same trouble starting BJJ. I trained no matter how sore I was because I loved it so much but I noticed that I never had energy for anything and basically got depressed everytime I trained very sore. Pretty sure it fucks your gains up too. Could also be your muscles that have just cramped up a bit, try to get a massage and if that's not possible either a hot bath or a long very hot shower while massaging the spots should help.

Thanks bro. Massage helped (able to stand only with legs strenght) but still my - jump is pretty nonexistent. I'll just play static without jumping.
