Alright, /fit/. Here's the situation:
>be at intermediate strength level
>incisional hernia from a surgery a decade ago flares up
>doctor says it's time to fix it, currently waiting on surgery date
>just learned that my family is arranging for a cruise vacation in december

Assuming I get the surgery next week, and it takes 4 weeks for enough recovery, that leaves me with 14 weeks to lift. I haven't lifted in almost 2 months (the first was due to lack of gym, the 2nd was because the hernia), so I know I've lost strength, and will lose some more by the time I am fully recovered.

I'm thinking of doing SS for 2-3 weeks once I can lift again, then doing the remaining time with PHUL and swimming on off days. Diet wise I'll spend the first 2 months in a bulk while eating at maintenance for the last month.

I know 3 months isn't a lot of time, but will it at least have looking decent?
