Pretty Decent anon, you'll get faster the more you ride. I assume it's with no traffic. After a month you'll be hitting 30km/h on the flats for hours, then 32km/h 6 months in. Probably take a year to hit a steady 35km/h for cruising speed.

Pretty wide roads in Ireland so traffic didn't really stop me. Couple roadworks slowed me down for a min, and a few minutes slow going through town
