So I recently turned 30, and while mentally I don't feel too different from my mid-20 I have noticed a few things physically that have started to slow down a little. Recovery takes longer, stamina not as high, etc.
-So how have you changed your fitness goals as you get older?
-What are you new goals?
-What is achievable in yours 30s? 40? 50+?
-How are you keeping mentally and physically sharp?
Roids make me feel like I'm 18 again
Bumping for interest
I'm 29, about to turn 30 in a few months and I feel just as good as I did when I was 18 and I fuck my wife all the time

I lived the first half of my 20's full-blown sex, drugs and rock'n'roll, so I'm actually in way batter shape now that I am 30
Started working out at 26, and the changes I have seen lately is about injuries.
Snapped my shit (lumbago) for the second time in six months, got off the heavy train, came down 10 kgs and nearly as many %bf. It's all high rep low weight for me, never looked or felt better in my life, got a six-pack for the first time, and these low weight workouts can be maintained well into your fifties.
I still do compounds, but lighter, and get the volume through reps. As an example, I deadlift 40kgs (100lbs, bar included) for 3*25. Will I get huge? definitely not, but it maintains my back more than any medecine would, and I have plenty space to play around with lower weight or higher rep as I get older.
Big is a teenager thing, I did it and I understand the pleasure, but I trained judo, rugby, handball, and now krav-maga, and big guys never age well. I don't care how strong you are, when you reach 50, joints carrying 250+ lbs get grinded to oblivion
Lean is the way to go for long-term health and looks.

Can you share your workout plan? I always read about low reps high weight here but almost never what you are doing. The fact that you are happy with it and it's working for you is very interesting. Thanks in advance bro

At 33 and a power lifter in my youth I agree 100 percent. I'm all about reps and healthy eating. I'll never be huge again but really asides from neckbeards here who cares? I lift for health and to feel good. Looking good or big is secondary but I look better now than i did as a tank.
