They just opened a new Equinox near my apartment here in the city, $125. It's a lot but holy shit are the amenities amazing. Truly a place that's a pleasure going there, I feel like I'm checking into a 4 star hotel.

I pay ¥2100 a month for my gym and it's across the street from the apartment and down the road from my work.

It's pretty decent too. It's mostly cardio bunnies but sometimes I see the odd powerlifter or two.

Attempt to haggel. Say you go to x gym and try and get them to price match or give you a better deal. Paid for a year upfront at mine and got 6 months for free.
