Not really. We have a pretty good grasp of how genes work and how certain strands can be manipulated to embed a desired gene or change the expression of a desired gene. Simple stuff like eye color, skin color can be changed very easily and even stuff like genes that suppress myostatin production ( resulting in more muscle) can be changed through modifications in your genes. Unless you fuck up other shit in the process, genetically modifying an early stage embryo is pretty save.
