And no, a shake doesn't "bloat your intestines" unless obviously you have some intolerances towards the ingredients in your shake (e.g. you're using poor quality whey and you're more than slightly lactose intolerant). Shakes are always more easily digestible and you should avoid hitting the gym while digesting.
