Has lifting heavy been killing my sex drive?
I recently started Stronglifts over again because I started out far too heavy, and now that I'm lifting Kindergarten level weights, I actually find that I'm getting random erections and feeling horny again. I'm 19, so for the longest time while I was lifting heavier weights, I felt like something was wrong with my sex drive; shouldn't I have wanted to fuck every girl I saw?
I've read that lifting heavy increases testosterone, but honestly, I feel far more sexually healthy now that I'm barely lifting anything. I still plan on progressing, but I'm kind of scared it might make me lose my libido again. Does anyone have a good explanation for this? Has anyone experienced anything similar?

>I've read that lifting heavy increases testosterone.
Correct. Lifting heavy isn't killing your sex drive or testosterone, there was no reason to cut back.

recovering from heavy leg work out or lots of running during sports ball always made sex worse.
but after recovery, it helps
I always have trouble sleeping. Even on days where I can sleep in, I naturally just wake up sooner than optimal and struggle to stay asleep, I guess I've always been restless that way. That's part of the reason why I haven't been drinking at all, it really messes with that on top of making me feel super depressed and anxious in the following days.

No! Thats your testosterone leaving your body in liquid form. You hoot a load and guess what your drive to go out and actually get fucked is now 0.
Nice try Jew.

It's a lot of stress on your nervous system. Look it up

I noticed this as well. I used to strength train everyday and noticed by erections weren't as hard or as frequent as before. long story short I started working out 3/week and my boners were harder, more frequent and my jizz wasn't as watery.
I think my diet wasn't enough. I was sleeping 12 hours/day so I know I had that covered.
