You can lose weight just fine even if you eat bread as well. 115 calories in 50g really isn't much. Bread fills you up. You won't get fat just because of it's carbs.

If it's white bread it's mostly empty calories, no fiber, no micronutrients, etc. And it also doesn't fill you much so you're prone to over-consume.
