Need some dieting advice.
I'm pretty in shape. I do cardio work outs in the morning, and strength training in the evening and consume about 2400 calories a day. I keep the carbs pretty low and protein makes about half of my diet. I'm basically trying to lose 6% body fat to really show abs.
Her's what a typical day looks like.
First thing in the morning:
Banana and a serving of BCAA's
A run or swim depending on the day
Breakfast:
Oatmeal and 2 scoops of iso natural protein
Snack:
1/3 cup of Kind granola
Lunch:
Chicken/Beef/Fish, some salad, and a carb such as beans
Snack:
Home made beef jerky, or some sliced deli turkey breast
Strength training usually happens a little late as I finish work at about 6:30 or 7.
Dinner:
Beef/Chicken/Fish a bit of usually arugula or spinach with some balsamic vinegar and 2 scoops of iso natural protein
I give it a few hours to digest and sleep for about 7 or 8 hours
tl;dr Looking for diet advice to lose an additional 6% body fat typical day of eating listed above

Cut the snacks. You get too much Insulin in your blood if you overeat. Insulin blocks growth hormones and brings fat burning to a halt. Also, reduce cardiovascular training down to about 2-3 times a week. Over training on cardio can lower testosterone levels. Cut sugars, because, again, Insulin. Eat more greens- spinach, broccoli, cauliflower and shit. Flushes out extra estrogen in your body. Estrogen- body stores fat. Testosterone- fat loss and muscle growth.
Thanks! I do tend to gain weight pretty easily. You still think it's a good idea to cut cardio? I didn't mention in OP that I swim 4 days a week and do hit sprint drills 3 days a week. Also I weight 191 lbs at 16.5% body fat.
