I've been training BJJ for 2 months, and during the train I always feel an intense pain from the base of my biceps, where it connects to the elbow (distal tendon) to the middle of the muscle. It feels a lot like tendinitis, irradiating through the arms but I don't think it's the case as the pain goes away approx 1h after finishing the class. My instructor suggested it could be cramps, but the pain is different from cramps. Doesn't look like soreness pain either, as it goes away soon after.
I've been doing weight training for about 2 years, so I'm not sedentary and don't have "newbie" biceps.
Do you guys have any idea on what it could be and how to avoid it?
you caught the gay dude. sorry bud.
But but but is there a cure?

It's probably tendonitus. I get it too at times. I try to get through it by applying muscle rub and hyper extending my elbows. Sit on your knees, put your palms on the ground facing *towards* you and stretch. Alternatively, get someone to gently arm-bar you.
It won't cure the problem, but it gives temporary relief and it might get you through the class.
I'm an oldfag by the way. I've always had big biceps. Never trained them. I only started to get this in my mid-thirties.

The pain is definitely similar to tendinitis. But when I had in my forearm playing too much videogames, the pain didn't go away, hence my confusion. I'll try these stretches. I'm 46 btw, so could be the age coming
