Any SD /fit/izens here? I moved to San Diego and am looking for a new gym. Does anyone have any recommendations as to which ones are any good? I used to be a member at 24hr when I was living in LA & Orange County but down here it seems that they aren't that great. The ones I've been to at least are either really out dated, and if they are newer they are constantly packed no matter when I go.
Any other recommendations on where to go? There's a Chuz fitness not far from me, never been to one but it doesn't look like they have actual bench presses which is strange. I was interested in the Fit Athletic Club downtown but at $170/month I'm not sure about it.
Where do you workout anons? Do you like it? Any pro's or cons?

what's an "out dated" gym? All you need is a squat rack.

24hr Fitness started in the San Diego area, so a lot of the equipment that breaks/goes missing doesn't really get replaced since it's all corporate. I used to work at one and they are really cheap when it comes to repairs or replacing anything broken.
