Because thats the sport of bodybuilding. Without roids BBing wont even exist , taking drugs is the core of the sport. Infact the drug part is also part of the competition. You compete with others with the amount of drugs you can take without competely fucking yourself over. If you are more tolerant and have a better reaction to these drugs , you are already a huge step ahead of the competition. And its not cheating when everybody is openly on drugs, unlike other sports (eventho presumably every pro athelete in every sport is on drungs)

cycling is a sport, bodybuilding is not. Cycling is to see how fast and strong the human body can get through training and perseverance on an even playing field, bodybuilding is trying to get fucling jacked and "aesthetic"
