Anyone else got friends who go to the gym but have no clue what they are talking about?

He also thinks whey protein powder makes you go infertile because his sister told him, but he smokes cigarettes and weed...
People I workout with insist:
>not mixing in machines is retarded because you can't isolate muscles with just free weights
->you need to do 1 hour of cardio every day, 30 mím before weights, 30 min after

>dedicate each day to one specific muscle eg: biceps day. Triceps day. Chest day.

The list goes on. But I'm a dumb ass who can't motivate myself to the gym on my own. And I don't have the money to into home gym. This is a hell I put myself in.
