After hitting the gym for the first time, I've realized hours later that I can't really extend my forearms straight without any pain in my inner elbow region. Is this normal?

Either DOMS or tendinitis.

DOMS. Same thing happened to me. It goes away.

U rly need to take it ez especially with curls for the first week or two
Never thought that someone else might have this. Except I don't have any pain in my elbow and I can't extend my forearms even after my workouts. Even if i try to extend my arm with tri's as far as possible with all my stength my forearms are still in very big angle.

So you just curled super high reps like a stupid bitch?

I thought more reps/less weight was better?
Please enlighten me

How long of a rest should I give it and what should I do in the meantime? I've been looking to put on some muscle

do a set of hammercurls with 20reps before pressing

forgot both arms therefore 40reps in total

i believe bigger arms/gains/hypertrophy are obtained through high weight, less reps.
Anything beyond the 8-12 rep range is all muscular endurance.
Try and find a weight that challenges you, but not enough so that you can't complete the amount of reps in the set. Also, take 60-90 second breaks in between sets.
