What's the difference between training for hypertrophy and training for strength? Do your muscles really grow in a different way when you focus one or another?
Low reps mean higher intensity -> higher CNS adaption. Also increases fiber density. This all causes you to get stronger
High reps increase fluid content of muscle cells.

alternate each and you get more muscles+more strength.
