Hey /fit/ was wondering how to convince other people to join your workout. Introvert here & i love to ride bikes. Owning a bunch of bikes makes it easy for groups, i also live near a park. People tell me they are interested and i tell them all they have to do is show up and it still doesn't happen. My roommate runs, he gave up trying to find a running partner for similar reasons. Me and my roommate ride, and i've rode with others before but i really want to invite this girl on a bike ride... she seems to hesitant/not interested

Is working out a personal time for you? Is having a conversation while working out really that hard?
Anyone ever done the Nike Run Club?

oh, and to add some personal experience: my friends and i play basketball, swim, work out in the gym together. some years ago my female friends had some dancing group in which i participated quiet a while. but there are also other friends who dont like being fit, so i just play some backgammon or chess with them...
so maybe the girl you want to ride with doesnt like bikes, maybe shes into something else
