People think of it like a disease, but it's not quite a disease. Disease implies that it's a foreign body invading you. And that's what cancer is, but it's also not.

Cancer is when a single cell refuses to die. When it decides it won't participate in the life and death cycle that goes on inside the human body. Instead it multiplies, without direction, corrupting what it was previously deeply connected with.

Maybe there's a metaphor for life in there. We fear death, but to not die would only corrupt the cycle and ruin that bigger, more complicated form simply because of our selfish, individualistic desires.

This is not your regular drug like weed that makes you feel hella fine for some time. Lsd is a tough (but surprisingly healthy, for a drug) drug

I myself got into a phase of complete despersonalization, and was forced to see me as others saw me, and humble out
I got out of that stronger (was kind of insecure but a lot less after figuring out that people just dont give a shit about most people's actions

But others have had bad experiences when being forced by the truth. People have come out of the closet mid-trip. Other's recall being abused when they were young, that kind of shit

I've never met a person who would've had a bad experience with salvia, nor have I ever had a bad experience myself. Most of the people online have had a positive one. I'm not "hyping it up", but generally speaking a quicker experience at first is easier if people are nervous. Yes the effects are different, you lose all sight in salvia whereas in LSD you just achieve a sensation of bliss with some mild hallucination. But once you commit to LSD there's no turning back for several hours, where as salvia is over in couple of minutes. And being legally available does play a role for someone who's trying for the first time and just wants a quick experience. In fact if he's never done weed I'd recommend that first and foremost, despite having nothing in common with psychedelics at all
