I tore my hamstring in April. It still hurts. I've went to a doctor recently and they just said it takes a while to heal.

What can I do to speed it up? I'm tired of not doing squats and deadlifts

Just accept that your heavy lifting days are over for about a year. I tore my right pec while benching and somehow fucked up the tendons in my lower back from deadlifting excessively and with questionable form. I don't actually have any major pain and haven't been to a doctor about it but if you feel even the slightest twinge when lifting then you need to fuck off it.

Connective tissues takes a ridiculous amount of time to heal. What takes your muscle a week could take your connective tissue a year.

Anyways since I stopped benching, deadlifting, and squatting I've transitioned into brosplits that don't fuck with my tendons and I look way better than I did with T-rex legs and a 4-inch deep spinal column

Had to stop squatting in January due to a concussion. Still get pulsating headaches when I try to lift heavy and have passed out once.
Legs have lost a heck ton of size.
I don't have an answer for you OP but you aren't alone

deep stretches and walking on the treadmill? work your way up to a jog or a run and just continue deep stretches.

I'm kinda in the same boat, just tweaked something in my lower back doing squats. Didn't hurt much during the workout but now it hurts to bend over and stuff. Thinking I might skip legs for a while and do curlbro shit.
Anyone have a recommended curlbro routine that won't hurt my back?
