I'm trying to add swimming in to my routine (getting sick of sitting on the bike basically), I wanted to try and do 33 lengths in the pool (supposed to equal one mile right?) and I did about ten lengths. Only four of those were serious swimming too, I got too tired and just dog-paddled the rest of it like a bitch. Should I keep up with swimming if I can only do 10 lengths for now? I guess I could just keep adding more in right? But I can't even swim very well like the other people I see in there (and they probably don't appreciate a shirtless fatty).

nah mate, I'm almost to goal weight and I'm rocking B's still. and I'm 53.1kg now. I'm going to cut till 47.5kg (estimate of ideal bf% to start bulking). I can't wait to start bulking up and go to the mid 60's, and then have C cups with the whole muscle package. I'm thinking 17.5kg of total mass gain (averaging 80% muscle - 20% fat as I am doing a clean bulk), should lend me a nice upgrade in the rack department, not to mention the nice lift up when I'll train my pectoral muscles and obliques.

Been on keto for a month now. Lost 20lbs so far. I got really tempted to cheat today and I did. I had a small bag of Hershey's kisses that my family left in the freezer. Then i went to the store and got one of those jumbo sized bags of Swedish fish and a starbucks mocha frappuccino. Chugged the frap and made it halfway through the Swedish fish until my stomach started regretting my choices. It ached so bad, I threw the rest of the Swedish fish away.

Probably didn't go over my calories too much (I estimate ~2500kcal total) but I still feel like a piece of shit for giving in. Gained 1.5lbs and now I gotta get my body back into ketosis.

Guys, I... I think I might be done? I hit 180 today and I'm between 13 and 14% bodyfat, medically proven. I'm 5 pounds from goal but 100 days from boot camp.

I think I'll switch to maintenance and just focus on my running and lifting for the next 100 days since I'm most certainly going to lose muscle mass and weight at boot. I'll try and get back up to 190 cleanly, but if I cut to 175, maintain for a month and then switch to a clean bulk I'll probably only hit 180, 185 and end up at 160 or 165 by the end of basic and be underweight.

So, long story short, I... think I've made it. I think its over.

Weight loss isn't an exact science. Maybe you are eating a lot more salt and it's mostly water weight. Maybe you aren't counting calories so you have no idea exactly how much you ate. Maybe your bowels suck and you take a massive dump soon.

Just keep going and don't go crazy over the number, body weight fluctuates. It's often recommended to be shooting for a weight range instead of a specific number, because your body weight won't stick to one number day to day.

Alright, just to back-peddle on this a bit... I'll finish off this PSMF with the refeed days to ensure that I don't rubberband suddenly. Switch to keto for a week at 1800 kcal, then CICO at 1800 kcal and then on August 1st I'll be done dieting and in full maintenance.

Chicken strips/nuggets from anywhere are normally great.

I eat burgers and chicken sandwhichs all the time. I just avoid the "special" ones that are slathered in sauces that are 90% of the time soybean or mayo based. Those add like 200 calories and it is crazy. Most sandwiches are 500 calories max.

I'm 7 days into Keto now. Weight's comig off pretty fast, but that's expected in the beginning. It will slow down later.

It's not that magical as most of the community makes it out to be. I read posts of people who said that they stopped balding and their hair grew back.

By all means, try it out. I'd try it for two months rather than just for one, since the adaptation can take up to 30 days. In that period you won't feel mental improvement, but the opposite. You will probably feel nauseous and tired. But that will pass.

My experience so far is pretty good. The high fat part of it makes it very easy not to overeat, since the meals are so filling. Most days I don't even manage to get to 1700, because I'm not hungry.

The beginning is pretty tough, but if it works for you do it. That's also what the sticky says.
Check the subreddit sidebar, but be cautious about the cult-like community.

I know this whole gig will help to a certain extent, but I know it'll never cure me completely. There will always be a time where I shut down again and go through months of despair at a time.
