Should I change my workout schedule?
M- Upper body
T- Lower body
W- Core
TR- Upper body
F- Lower body
S- Core
SU- Break
Why not do a PPL? If you insist, do something more useful on the core days, and change the break to the middle.
So move the core to upper body or just do core once a week ?

ur lower body movements use the core a lot
Do you really need a core day - why not add it onto the lower or upper days? That's what I do - do it after legs. Up-Lo-Rd-repeat. Bet your performance increases with an extra rest day or two.
