maybe I have weird femur length or something but I hit depth on low bar without my knees passing my toes. You drink protein shakes to supplement protein intake. Protein is an important macronutrient for health in all hoomans (you'd literally die without it), but in particular plays a crucial role in building muscle.

Your muscles are constantly repairing themselves, whether you worked out today or yesterday your body is still working to build up the muscle and needs dat dere protein... so if you haven't gotten enough protein for the day, it's good to drink a shake, whether you worked out that day or not.
