Redpill me on biltong
Per 100g
>Fat: 4g
>Protein: 50.3g
what's the catch?
>>42038024
mystery meat
probably ridiculously expensive
>>42038024
Expensive, high sodium content, cholesterol (if you see fat as bad).
The protein content is even higher than that most of the time.

Also, so delicious you'll eat 300 grams of chili biltong and then spend 5 hours shitting flames

>expensive
it's £35 for 1kg
You can also just grab a meat dehydrator for like 20 bucks here in Aus and do it yourself, you can use the shittest, gnarly tough bits of meat that are cheap and salt/spice the fuck out of them. I use those taco premix spice sachets as a rub and that shit is divine.

Chicken breast in comparison is £6 per kg
serious answer: Salt
it has lots and lots of it
I wasn't aware it was called biltong outside of South Africa, but it's pretty tasty stuff nonetheless, a lot of salt though
>>42038024
If you're not eating it in South Africa do not fucking bother.
Yes, even the exported shit is total crap.
