A bag of peanuts usually contains 200g at around 618 kcal per 100g. That's 1236 kcal of healthy fats and protein that you can carry with you and snack on throughout your day.
Seeds of all kinds pack rouhgly the same amount of calories. They're dirt cheap and can be used in salads, as snacks, in oats/cereal/etc.
You don't have to eat 4000kcal of broccoli and lettuce. It's really not that hard.

Not an argument. OP said his lifts are stalling. He either is making too big of jumps, isn't resting enough between sets, it isn't eating/sleeping enough. One of these three is the case, if he hasn't maxed out his linear progression potential. Doesn't matter if he's doing SS or not. Your body needs fuel and recovery to grow, regardless of your program.
